FEBS Workshop on:

Ten FEBS Youth Travel Funds (YTF) and  five FEBS Transcontinental YTF Grants (trans-YTF)  for PhD and postdoctoral fellows within five years of obtaining PhD will be available covering travel expenses and the all-inclusive registration fee.

Applicants for YTF and TransYTF grants have to fill the relative section in the APPLICATION / REGISTRATION page.

The eligibility criteria for YTF grants are:

Applicant must  be a PhD student at an institution of higher learning in a country where there is a FEBS Constituent Society, OR  be a post-doctoral scientist who obtained her/his PhD 
within the past 5 years.

Applicant must be a member of a FEBS Constituent Society or Associated Member Society and documented proof of this membership is mandatory.

Applicant must not have received a YTF grant in the current or preceding year.

Awards will be assigned only to young scientists traveling from their current country of residence / work to the country hosting the event. The applicant cannot be a resident of the country hosting the event.

The eligibility criteria for Trans-YTF grants are:

Applicant must  be a PhD student at an institution of higher learning in a country where there is IUBMB-related international society such as FASBMB (Africa) / ASBMB (North America) / PABMB (South America & Canada), FAOBMB (Asia). OR  be a post-doctoral scientist who obtained her/his PhD 
within the past 5 years.

Applicant must be a member of an IUBMB-related international society and documented proof of this membership is mandatory.

Applicant must not have received a Trans-YTF grant in the current or preceding year.

Awards will be assigned only to young scientists traveling from their current country of residence / work to the country hosting the event.

The deadline for YTF GRANTS has been extended to June 30^th 2012 . The award will be communicated by July 15 ^th.
